Photo Contest: HCTF FREE Photography Contest for CANADIAN Residents

Eligibility: This photo contest is open to Canadian Residents (excluding residents of Quebec) who have captured a photo of BC’s wildlife, freshwater fish, habitats or people engaged in activities that connect them to these resources, aged 19+
Entry fee: Free
Enter images of BC’s fish, wildlife and habitats, specifically:

• Freshwater fish (species native to BC)
• BC Wildlife (excluding marine mammals and those in captivity)
• Landscape photos of freshwater fish and wildlife habitats, including lakes, rivers, wetlands, forests, and grasslands.
• People engaged in activities that connect them with BC’s fish, wildlife and habitats.

Prizes:

• 1st Prize $500.00 Visa Gift Card
• Runner-up $250.00 Visa Gift Card
• Runner-up $250.00 Visa Gift Card

Winners will be announced on the Foundation’s website by February 29^th, 2016.
Photographs must have been taken in the Province of British Columbia. Judging criteria: originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit. Online submission of digital photographs via the website.
Image requirements: JPG or PNG format; at least 300ppi, without watermarks or other markings that identify the photographer; up to 6MB in file size.
Copyright: You retain the copyright in your photo and nothing herein grants ownership of your photo to HCTF.
